Corporal Uniform Patrol at New Castle County Division of Police

Korey Thompson has extensive experience in law enforcement and military service. Currently serving as a Corporal in the Uniform Patrol for the New Castle County Division of Police since August 2014, Korey Thompson specializes in accident response and investigations, while also assisting the Criminal Investigation Unit during major incidents. Additionally, as a Police Athletic League Officer in the Community Services Unit, Korey Thompson engages with 7,000 youth members through various academic, athletic, and self-esteem building activities. Korey Thompson's military background includes service as a Sergeant in the Delaware Army National Guard and previous roles as an E-4 Specialist in two transportation and repair companies. Academically, Korey Thompson holds a Master's degree in Administration of Justice and a Graduate Certificate in Trauma and Resilience from Wilmington University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wesley College.
