Ella Achenbach is currently serving as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at New City School and a Certified Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line, both positions held since January 2024. Previous experience includes working as a Part-Time Teacher at SouthSide Early Childhood Center, a Practicum Student in Clinical Psychology, and research roles at Cognition & Development Lab and St. Louis Personality and Aging Network Lab. Ella's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Children's Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, complemented by internships at the UVM Clinical Neuroscience Research Center and Sarah Cannon Research Institute, along with early work experience as a Hostess at Denver Biscuit Company.

New City School is a private elementary school located in St. Louis MO. New City School capitalizes on each child's individual strengths through an integrated multiple intelligences curriculum.
