Alex Williams

Alex Williams currently serves as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Strategy at New Columbia Solar, a position held since June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Associate Attorney at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP from July 2022 to June 2023 and as an Associate Attorney at Haynes and Boone, LLP from February 2019 to July 2022, specializing in Power & Renewables while based in Houston, TX. Alex also practiced as an Attorney at Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith, A PLC from May 2014 to January 2019 and began a legal career as a Law Clerk at BBC Chartering from May 2012 to May 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) with a concentration in Business Transactions from the University of Tennessee College of Law (2011-2014) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biomechanics from Purdue University (2004-2008), alongside foundational education at Neuqua Valley High School and the International School of Beijing.
