Rebecca Burns, M. Ed, has extensive experience in recruitment and customer service roles. Currently serving as a Recruitment Specialist at New Communities, Inc. since March 2020, Rebecca has previously demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities at Deluxe Corporation, advancing from Customer Service Sales Representative to Order Resolution Specialist II. Responsibilities included vendor collaboration, process documentation, and maintaining high levels of customer service. As a Guidance Counseling Intern at North Middlesex Regional High School, Rebecca provided support to high school students using cognitive behavioral and person-centered approaches. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in School Counseling from Rivier University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

As a non-profit organization that began almost fifty years ago with a single assisted living facility in southern Maine, we continue to increase the depth and breadth of our programs and services for seniors, adults with mental health diagnoses, and people with intellectual disabilities and autism. Today, our dedicated workforce of 400 professionals provide individualized residential and community services to more than 300 people who live, work, and play in the communities of their choice at 27 locations across the state of Maine.
