Robert Ballagh

Robert Ballagh is an experienced research laboratory technician currently employed at McMaster University Department of Medicine, where responsibilities include managing lab expenses, personnel recruitment, and conducting murine vascular surgeries. In addition, Robert serves as a fundraising coordinator for the Hamilton Alliance for Tiny Shelters and as an event coordinator for the New Democratic Party of Canada's 2023 National Convention. Robert's background includes a master's degree in Medical Science, specializing in Blood and Vasculature, and a bachelor's degree in Biology. Previous roles include customer service representative at VWR, graduate research assistant at McMaster University, and field researcher at Carleton University, among others. Robert has also held various leadership positions within the Graduate Student Association at McMaster University.
