Thaiasia Johnson, MSW, currently serves as Program Director at New Destiny Housing Corporation, overseeing a team that provides trauma-informed support services to tenants in NYC. With experience in various roles including Tenant Support Coordinator, Case Manager, and Group Social Worker Intern, Thaiasia has developed extensive expertise in case management, tenant support, and community outreach, particularly for survivors of domestic violence. New Destiny’s mission is to end the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness for low-income families and individuals by developing and connecting them to safe, permanent, affordable housing and services. To achieve our mission, we build and manage supportive housing and through innovative programs we assist survivors in finding and retaining housing. New Destiny also advocates for additional housing resources for domestic violence survivor and their families.
