Terry Hicks is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware and electronics design. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer (Hardware) at New Eagle since February 2020, Terry specializes in the hardware design of Electronic Control Systems (ECUs) for various customers across automotive and advanced technology markets, including autonomous vehicles and drones. Prior roles include Senior Hardware Engineer at Magna Lighting, where Terry focused on LED lighting design for vehicles, and Senior Electrical Engineer at EOTECH, where electronic systems for gun sights were developed. Additional experience encompasses positions as Principal Engineer at Tenneco, Hardware Engineer at Johnson Controls, and Adjunct Electronics Instructor at ITT Technical Institute, alongside earlier work as a Firmware Engineer at Leica Geosystems. Terry holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
