Ayushi Vig is an accomplished board member and independent consultant with extensive experience in sustainable development and philanthropy. Currently serving on the boards of the Energy Justice Law and Policy Center, Cooperative Economics Alliance of New York City, Clean Energy Works, and New Economy Coalition, Vig promotes inclusive investments and economic models prioritizing people and planet. As a Leadership for Sustainability Fellow at the University of Vermont and a former Fellow at the Just Economy Institute, Vig focuses on climate, health, and economic development, integrating a gender lens into solutions in the US and Global South. Educational credentials include a Master's in Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor's degree with Honors in International Relations and Psychology from Stanford University.

The mission of the New Economy Coalition (NEC) is to convene and support all those who might contribute to an economy that is restorative to people, place, and planet, and that operates according to principles of democracy, justice and appropriate scale. Faced with interconnected ecological and economic crises, they believe that shared prosperity,sustainability and an equitable society require deep, systemic changes to both our economy and our politics. They support a just transition to a new economy that enables both thriving communities and ecological health.
