New Energy Equity (NEE)
Tim Pollnow is an experienced electrical engineer and solar designer currently serving as a Senior Engineer at New Energy Equity since April 2022. Previously, Tim has worked as an Electrical Engineer and PV Designer at Impact Power Solutions since February 2016, focusing on the design of residential, commercial, and community solar systems across Minnesota. Additional experience includes a role as a Student Energy Engineer at the University of Minnesota, where Tim analyzed HVAC systems, and as a Technical Aide at 3M, developing lighting prototypes. Tim's career began as a Student Manager at the NOvA Module Factory, overseeing student team operations. Tim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota and has obtained a Master Electrician License through self-study.
