Richard Riley

Richard Riley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and engineering within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Business Development at New Energy Risk since October 2022, Richard oversees performance insurance solutions that support innovative technologies. Previously, Richard held multiple roles at Highview Power from August 2013 to September 2022, including Product Director and Vice President, U.S., contributing to the development of large-scale energy storage solutions. Richard's earlier experience includes project engineering at EDF, focusing on operational troubleshooting for nuclear facilities, and various engineering roles at Buro Happold and Dstl. Richard holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield and studied at INSA Lyon.
