Dr. Thomas Winters

Dr. Thomas Winters has extensive work experience in the field of occupational health. Dr. Thomas has served as the Medical Director in various organizations, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, New England Baptist Hospital, Zoo New England, Schepens Eye Research Institute, and Children's Hospital. Dr. Thomas has also worked as a Medical Consultant at Tufts Veterinary School and as the Chief of Occupational Medicine/President at Occupational and Environmental Network (OEHN). Additionally, they have held the role of Occ Hlth Medical Director at Harvard School of Public Health, BSL Labs, Toxicon Research Institute, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Their work experience spans from 2006 to the present.

Dr. Thomas Winters' education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of North Dakota and a Medical Doctor (MD) degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Thomas also completed their internship in Medicine at Bay State Medical Center and served as the Chief Resident at St. Vincent Hospital. Dr. Winters further pursued a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at The St. Vincent Hospital. Dr. Thomas obtained an Associate in Medicine from UMass Chan Medical School and later became an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the same institution. Dr. Winters is also board certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine, and is board eligible in Infectious Disease. Dr. Thomas holds additional certifications as a Certified Independent Medical Examiner and a Certified Medical Review Officer. Dr. Winters is licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts.
