Janet, MS, MLS(ASCP) is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare informatics and medical laboratory science. Currently serving as an Application Analyst II focused on Inpatient Orders at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center since January 2020, Janet previously held the role of Medical Laboratory Scientist at New England Baptist Hospital. Janet's expertise encompasses analyzing various body specimens and utilizing advanced testing methods for disease detection and diagnosis. Past positions include serving as an Application Specialist at MEDITECH, where training and support were provided for the Order Management application, and several roles at Brigham and Women's Hospital, covering responsibilities in media relations, patient coordination, and laboratory assistance. Janet holds a Master of Science in Health Information and Management with a focus on Healthcare Informatics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
