Marcia Kathryn E. Steiner

Chief, Section of Pulmonary Medicine at New England Baptist Hospital

Dr. M. Kathryn Steiner is a hospitalist and pulmonary specialist at New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH). In this role, she treats pulmonary and ICU-related disorders as well as manages patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Steiner holds an academic appointment as Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Her research interests include pulmonary vascular medicine, and she has written several papers and book chapters.

Dr. Steiner earned her medical degree from St. Bartholomew and the Royal London Medical College at the University of London, England. She then completed her residency at Yale University School of Medicine, followed by the combined Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Fellowship Program at Tufts Medical Center.
