Matthew Werger

Matthew Werger serves as the Chief of Arthroplasty for both Steward Health Care and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, alongside roles as an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction at New England Baptist Hospital and Mount Auburn Hospital. Matthew holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and has previously worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Pro Sports Orthopedics, Inc. and Florida Orthopaedic Institute, as well as serving in the United States Air Force. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and an Orthopedic Surgery Residency from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine from the University of Notre Dame.
