R Scott Oliver

R Scott Oliver has extensive experience in the field of orthopedic surgery, currently serving as medical staff at New England Baptist Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth since 2012 and 1982, respectively. R Scott Oliver holds the position of clinical instructor at Tufts Medical Center since January 2021 and is a founding member of the Dynamic Independent Orthopedic Group, which comprises ten physicians and six physician assistants along with therapists focused on community orthopedic care. Leadership roles include serving as a board member and president of the Massachusetts Orthopaedic Association until September 2023, and previously as chief of the orthopedic surgery division and president of the medical staff at Jordan Hospital from 1993 to 2016. R Scott Oliver is also a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and completed a Surgical Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School in 2020. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School and a chief residency in orthopedic surgery from New England Baptist Hospital.
