Tricia Ide

Executive Director, Quality & Patient Safety, Clinical Education & Professional Development at New England Baptist Hospital

Tricia Ide, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, is the Executive Director for Quality, Patient Safety and Patient Experience, Clinical Education and Professional Development, Inpatient Nursing and Magnet Program Director at New England Baptist Hospital. She is responsible for managing the overall high-quality performance and quality improvement structures throughout the organization. She also co-chairs the musculoskeletal quality collaborative for Beth Israel Lahey Health. Tricia developed and coordinated the Continuous Improvement Academy at NEBH that firmly established the yellow, green and black belt levels for quality improvement.

Tricia has led NEBH through a variety of successful regulatory and survey events with special recognition of The Joint Commission’s Advanced Certification for Total Hip/Knee Certification and the ANCC Magnet written document and site visit. As the Magnet Program Director, Tricia led the department of nursing and the organization to achieve ANCC Magnet® Recognition in 2019.

Tricia received her BSN from Simmons College, her MS from Regis College and her DNP from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She is the recipient of the 2019 New England Baptist Hospital inaugural A. Elizabeth Kolligan Nursing Scholarship Award; the 2017 New England Baptist Hospital President’s Award for Excellence in Quality and Patient Safety; and she was the 2011 Nursing Spectrum Nursing Excellence National Finalist Category in Management. Tricia is dedicated to making quality of care a priority and is active in improving orthopedic care and nursing practice.
