Thomas Möellenkamp

Thomas Möllenkamp joined New England Biolabs GmbH in 1997 and is the General Manager for NEB’s German subsidiary. NEB GmbH is the logistics and service hub for NEB in Central Europe, servicing end-users in Germany and Austria and managing an extensive network of distribution partners throughout Europe. After studying micro- and molecular biology at the University of Osnabrück and at Boston University, Thomas obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Osnabrück, where he worked in the field of membrane transport. His passion for business and economics led him to take up a position first in sales, further crossing over into marketing. After a year of co-general manager together with Gertraut Rhaese in Frankfurt, he became NEB’s acting general manager in 2000.
