Allie Birchmeier

Allie Birchmeier is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Director of First Year Programs at New England College since August 2016. In this role, Allie oversees the first-year experience, develops outreach plans, manages the Peer Leader program, and leads the Orientation planning committee. Previous positions include Director of Student Involvement, where Allie advised student organizations and implemented various student engagement activities, and multiple roles in student housing and community leadership at institutions such as the University of New Hampshire and Colorado State University. Allie holds a Master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Providence College. Additionally, Allie has contributed to community service through board memberships and volunteer positions, including with TRI-TOWN YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE and On Belay Inc.
