Joan Lawson

Joan Lawson, EdD, serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Program Director for Executive IT & Cyber and Data Science & Analytics at New England College since August 2022, where course instruction includes Python, Java, Database Design, Cloud Computing, and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence. With extensive teaching experience at various institutions, including Regis University and IUBH University of Applied Sciences, Joan has developed several courses and programs in information technology and enterprise architecture. Previous roles at IBM involved technical sales leadership, solution architecture, and enterprise architecture management, contributing to the development of strategies and processes for multiple sectors. Joan holds an EdD in Information Technology, an MS in Software Engineering, and a BS in Computer Information Systems.
