Zachary Starr

Zachary Starr has a diverse work experience that includes coaching positions in soccer, media roles, and customer service. Zachary is currently serving as the Head Coach at New England Futbol Club (NEFC) since May 2021. Previously, they worked as the JV Boys Soccer Head Coach at Middleborough High School from September to December 2020. Before that, they were a Youth Soccer Coach and Media Director at Global Premier Soccer from January 2018 to July 2020. Zachary also worked as a Videographer at LEGACY Global Sports from November 2019 to June 2020. In addition to their sports-related roles, Zachary Starr has experience as a Shift Lead at Hannaford Supermarkets from November 2015 to November 2017, a Freelance Writer - Internship at Middleborough Gazette from September 2015 to December 2016, and an Assistant Manager at K-9 Country Club from July 2011 to October 2015.

Zachary attended Lasell University from 2020 to 2022, where they obtained a Master of Science - MS degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management.

Prior to that, they attended Bridgewater State University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications.

In addition to their formal education, Zachary Starr also obtained several certifications. In November 2021, they earned the USSF C License from the U.S. Soccer Federation. In December 2020, they obtained the Level 2: Opposition Analysis and Level 2: Talent ID certifications from the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA). In November 2020, they earned the Level 1 - Opposition Analysis, Level 1 - Talent ID, and Level 1: Technical Scouting in Football certifications from the PFSA. Prior to that, in June 2019, they obtained the USSF Coaching D-License from the U.S. Soccer Federation.
