Jane Preston

Jane Preston serves as the Deputy Director of Programs at the New England Foundation for the Arts since 2005, leading strategic planning and program development to enhance relevance for artists and community development. Previous roles include Interim Co-Executive Director, during which over $15 million in grants were raised, and Director of Programs, where significant advancements in Native Arts and creative economy research were made. Additional experience encompasses nonprofit consulting, research fellowship at Harvard University's Hauser Center, and leadership positions at the Illinois Arts Council and Goodman Theatre, among others. Jane Preston holds a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College and an MPA in Strategic Planning, Economics, and Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
