Matt Walker

Academy Regional Manager at New England Revolution

Matt Walker is an experienced coach and educator in soccer, currently serving as a Coach Educator for the U.S. Soccer Federation since May 2025 and as the Technical Director for New England Futbol Club South since August 2022. Walker has also held the position of Academy Regional Manager at New England Revolution since August 2016. Previous roles include Assistant Coach at Stonehill College, Director of Coaching at Mass Premier Soccer/Global Premier Soccer, and head coach of the GPS/FC Bayern Munich national program. Walker's coaching journey began at Barnet FC, where responsibilities included planning and delivering training sessions for the Boys Academy Under 12 team. Education credentials include a degree in Sport Management and Coaching Science from Cardiff Metropolitan University and studies in physical education, business studies, and English literature at Hanley Castle Sixth Form.
