Beth von Staats is an experienced professional in program improvement and residential services. Currently serving as the Director of Program Improvement and Support at New England Village, Inc. since March 2019, Beth has also held the role of Residential Director in the same organization. Prior to this, Beth was the Owner and Administrator of Queenanneboleyn.com, a platform for writers and historians, from January 2011 to October 2023, while also contributing as a historical writer and blogger. Beth's extensive background includes leadership roles as the Director of Residential Services at Cape Abilities, Inc. from May 2007 to March 2019, and Director of Cape Cod & Islands at Kennedy-Donovan Center from May 1997 to May 2007. Beth began a career in residential services at The Charles River Center, where the role of Residential Director was held from February 1992 to May 1997. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and History from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, obtained between 1978 and 1982, alongside a high school diploma from New Bedford High School.

New England Village (NEV) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities realize their potential and pursue their dreams through innovative programs and community living. Using a person-centered approach, we offer a variety of services, including day habilitation, employment supports, and residential living. With 17 modern and beautifully maintained homes in a picturesque setting in Pembroke as well as a state-of-the-art wellness center and a beautiful day facility in Kingston, NEV supports 78 individuals in its Residential Services Division and 160 clients in its Day Services programs.
