Dolores Rezendes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in organizational development and communications. In the role of Chief Development & Communications Officer at New England Village, Inc. since December 2004, Dolores has led efforts to create cohesive messaging that aligns with the organization's mission, managing communications across various programs and initiatives. Prior to this, Dolores co-founded and served as Vice President of the New England Chapter of the National Alliance for Autism Research, where significant contributions included co-chairing the 2002 Greater Boston Walk. Dolores also held positions as Promotions and Marketing Manager at Community Newspaper Company and Account Manager at AT&T, where expertise in marketing strategies and account management was demonstrated. Dolores holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Iona University, and a Certificate in Graphic Design from Clark University.

New England Village (NEV) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities realize their potential and pursue their dreams through innovative programs and community living. Using a person-centered approach, we offer a variety of services, including day habilitation, employment supports, and residential living. With 17 modern and beautifully maintained homes in a picturesque setting in Pembroke as well as a state-of-the-art wellness center and a beautiful day facility in Kingston, NEV supports 78 individuals in its Residential Services Division and 160 clients in its Day Services programs. Recognizing how integral quality staff is to the well-being of the individuals we serve, New England Village's management and board of directors have a made a commitment to being the Human Services Employer of Choice in our region.
