Shobhit Gupta is a Senior Associate at GM Ventures since June 2022, focusing on early- and mid-growth stage deal sourcing and completion in B2B software, energy generation and distribution, and climate technologies. In addition to this role, Shobhit serves as a Board Observer for B2B Undisclosed Series A investments and EnergyX, along with being a member of the New Enterprise Forum, where support is provided to entrepreneurs in refining their pitches and fundraising strategies. Previous experience includes positions at General Motors as a Finance Associate and Summer Associate in Capital Planning, Broadtree Partners as a Private Equity Analyst, and Ellinwood + Machado as a Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer. Shobhit holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, an MS in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BE in Civil Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, graduating with distinction.
