Marina Garcia Valls

Marina Garcia Valls currently serves as the Environmental and Social Manager at New Forests since January 2023. Previously, as an Associate Consultant at MFC Social • Environmental Performance Consulting Ltd., from February 2022 to July 2023, Marina provided technical assistance on IFC Performance Standards and guided an ecosystem restoration company in Indonesia. From September 2019 to December 2022, Marina held the position of Social Manager at Acacia Forest Industries Sdn Bhd, focusing on conflict resolution and community development initiatives. As a Sustainability Senior Associate at APRIL, from July 2016 to July 2019, Marina developed key policies and coordinated sustainability audits.
