Anna Washington, CPA, MBA has a diverse work experience in various energy companies. Anna started their career as an Accountant in various energy companies from 1997 to 2001. Anna then joined Marathon Oil Corporation, where they held several roles, including Accountant, Advanced Accountant, Adv. Accounting Analyst and Accounting Analyst, Internal Audit Manager, and Advanced Accounting Representative. Anna worked at Marathon Oil Corporation from 2002 to 2015. After that, Anna joined Direct Energy, where they worked as a Technical Accounting Manager, Derivatives and Technical Accounting Manager, Sr Manager Derivatives Accounting, and Director of Business Transformation in the Financial Controller's Organization until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Head of Accounting Policy & Derivatives Accounting at Motiva Enterprises LLC. Currently, Anna works as the Director of Technical Accounting at New Fortress Energy.

Anna Washington, CPA, MBA, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University from 1992 to 1997. Anna further pursued their education at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2007, earning an MBA in Accounting with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management. Anna also holds additional certifications, including being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) obtained from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in February 2023 and an IFRS Certificate obtained from the AICPA in May 2022.
