Leandro Cunha

Leandro Cunha is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in leadership and finance. Currently serving as Managing Director for New Fortress Energy Brazil since June 2021, Leandro has also held significant roles such as Vice President of New Business Development at the same company and a member of the Finance Committee at Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis from October 2018 to December 2021. Previous positions include Head of IGP Power & Infrastructure at bp and Project Development and Investment Director at Siemens, along with various leadership roles at GNA, Cia Positiva de Energia, ENEVA, EP ENERGY, and Intelig Telecom. Leandro holds a degree in engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, an MSc in Economy from Ibmec, and has completed specialized training in energy project appraisal at Imperial College London.
