Rawand Kader has a comprehensive work experience in the energy industry. Most recently, in 2023, they served as the Director of Engineering - FLNG Operation at New Fortress Energy. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they worked as the Process Engineering Manager at Cameron LNG. From 2016 to 2021, they held various roles at Cheniere Energy, Inc., including Process Services Manager and Lead Senior Process Engineer. Rawand also gained experience at Woodside Energy, where they worked as a Process Engineer in different capacities, such as in the Engineering Response Team and as an Optimisation Engineer. Beginning their career in 2008, Rawand started as a Trainee Process Engineer on the Northern Endeavour FPSO.
Rawand Kader obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Fuel and Energy Engineering from the Technical College of Kirkuk from 2000 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at Curtin University from 2006 to 2007.
