Trevor Fox

Trevor Fox has extensive work experience in the legal and shipping sectors. Trevor is currently the Managing Director and Legal Co-Head of Project Development at New Fortress Energy since 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at HFW, starting as an Associate Attorney in 2010 and eventually becoming a Partner specializing in Shipping, Offshore, and Logistics from 2016 to 2021. During their time at HFW, Trevor advised clients on corporate structures, ship finance and purchase, transactional matters, and handled cases at all levels of the English courts. Trevor also worked as a Summer Intern at HFW in 2009, an Intern at Hogan Lovells in 2008, a Summer Intern at Ince & Co in 2007, and a Research Assistant at Ince & Co in 2005. Additionally, Trevor worked as a Freelance Document Translator in 2004.

Trevor Fox has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earned between 1995 and 2001. Trevor then attended Guizhou University from 2001 to 2002, where they studied Mandarin. In 2003, they furthered their Mandarin studies at the Beijing Language and Culture University during an Intensive Mandarin Studies summer camp. Additionally, from 2003 to 2004, they attended Liaoning University for Mandarin studies. Trevor continued their education by obtaining a Masters of Law (LL.M.) degree in Chinese Law from Tsinghua University between 2007 and 2008. Finally, they completed their legal education at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, earning a JD (Juris Doctor) degree from 2006 to 2009.
