David Drover

David Drover is an experienced Project Geologist at New Found Gold Corp., where responsibilities include overseeing exploration operations and acting as camp supervisor for remote exploration camps. With a background that includes core logging, field geology, and extensive fieldwork in gold exploration throughout Central Newfoundland, David has developed a strong foundation in geological practices. Previous roles include Student Geologist and Laboratory Research Assistant, along with a position as Field Research Assistant for the Geological Survey of Newfoundland, contributing to research on mineralization. David holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Geology from Memorial University, completed in 2021.
