Sonja Gonzalez

Sonja Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in various industries. Sonja most recently served as the Vice President of Information Technology at New Hampshire Electric Cooperative, Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Information Officer at the City of Rochester, NH from 2017 to 2023. From 2012 to 2017, Sonja worked as the Manager of IT at New Hampshire Community Loan Fund. Sonja also worked as the Director of IT at Oyster River Cooperative School District from 2008 to 2012 and as the Director of Technology at Ellis School from 2004 to 2008. Sonja began their career as a Technology Coordinator at Epping Elementary School from 1999 to 2004. Before transitioning into the field of IT, they worked in marketing roles at Polaroid from 1988 to 2003 and at Tamron USA from 1996 to 1997 as a Marketing and Sales Manager.

Sonja Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Sonja has also obtained additional certifications in Project Management from the University of New Hampshire in 2017 and as a Salesforce.com Certified Administrator from salesforce.com in 2014.
