Neocles Serafimidis

Neocles Serafimidis has a diverse background in IT and project management. Neocles started their career as a Pre-doctoral Teaching Associate at the University of Washington in 1995. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as an Executive Assistant at the Philosophy of Science Association, where they performed a variety of administrative duties. Neocles then joined Vividata, Inc as an Office Manager from 2001 to 2002. Neocles worked at Pictopia from 2002 to 2009, starting as a Partner Relations Manager and later becoming a Product Manager. In 2009, they held roles as the Web Marketing Manager at Dickerman Prints and a Web Developer/Business Process Analyst at Truestone, LLC. From 2011 to 2017, Neocles was employed by New Harbinger Publications, where they worked as a Web Developer, Sr. IT Project Manager, and ultimately as the Director of Information Technology, overseeing various IT systems and digital product development.

Neocles Serafimidis holds a PhD in Philosophy, which they earned from the University of Washington in the period between 1995 and 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Philosophy at the same university from 1993 to 1995. Neocles also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from California State University, Fresno, from 1986 to 1988. In addition to their philosophical education, Neocles obtained a Certificate in ITIL v3 Foundations from Pink Elephant in 2010.
