Tesilya Hanauer

Tesilya Hanauer has extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as Acquisitions Director at New Harbinger Publications since February 2001. In this role, Tesilya develops strategic initiatives for the department and explores new directions and content formats while participating on the Executive Council. Previously, Tesilya held positions as Acquisitions Manager, overseeing a team of acquisitions editors, and as Associate Acquisitions Manager and Acquisitions Editor. Prior to joining New Harbinger, Tesilya worked as an Advertising Assistant at Publishers Group West, managing co-op advertising for over 150 independent publishers. Tesilya graduated from Humboldt State University with a BA in Political Science, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Spanish in 1996.
