John G. serves as the Chief Information and Technology Officer for New Hartford Central Schools since February 2023, overseeing various aspects of technical management including staff, hardware/software purchases, and IT budget. Prior to this role, John held the position of Information Technology Coordinator/Data Protection Officer at Herkimer Fulton Hamilton Otsego BOCES from July 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing technical staff and IT policy. John began their career at the Mohawk Regional Information Center, working as Technical Coordinator and later as Network Administrator, and also gained experience as a Computer Technician at Speculator Chamber of Commerce and as an Accounting/Computer Specialist at Lake Pleasant Marine. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from SUNY Institute of Technology and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Herkimer County Community College.
