Caitlin Daly-Gonzales has a diverse range of work experience in the field of education and music. Caitlin started their career in 2011 as an Adjunct Professor at Hawaii Tokai International College, where they engaged non-music majors in lectures and activities to cultivate an appreciation for music. Caitlin also assisted English language learners in developing classroom skills. In 2012, they briefly worked as a College Lecturer at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In 2014, they served as a Student Teacher at the Region 18 school district, where they designed and implemented curriculum for music theory and symphonic band. Caitlin also kept records of grades and contributed to the school's NEASC accreditation committee. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Instructional Assistant at East Lyme Public Schools. Currently, they hold the position of Education Director at the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, a role they have held since 2015.
Caitlin Daly-Gonzales holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Education from the University of New Haven, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Musicology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, completing it between 2008 and 2011. During their undergraduate years from 2003 to 2007, Caitlin obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music Theory and Composition from Central Connecticut State University. In addition to their academic accomplishments, they also hold a certification as a Music Educator for grades K-12, obtained from the CT State Department of Education in July 2014.
