Guy Higashi

Guy Higashi has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Guy served as the President of New Hope Christian College and Pacific Rim Christian College, overseeing campuses in Oregon, Hawaii, and multiple international institutes. Guy also worked as the Director of Continuing Education at Fuller Theological Seminary. Additionally, Higashi held executive positions at Tommy Walker "Get Down Records" and The Office Place- IBM Business Partner, where they managed various aspects of the organizations' operations. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Pastor of New Hope Pearl Community and had a role on the Senior Management Team of New Hope Christian Fellowship Oahu. Higashi also worked in sales and management positions at HMSA (Blue Cross/ Blue Shield), Servco Pacific Inc., and PBC Wholesalers. Throughout their career, they demonstrated leadership skills, contributed to business growth, and managed diverse teams.

Guy Higashi earned a Master's Degree in Worship, Theology, and the Arts from Fuller Theological Seminary from 2004 to 2008. Guy then continued their education at Fuller Theological Seminary, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from 2008 to 2011.
