Pastor Dr. J Dan Renfro Retired has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Pastor Dr. J Dan began their career in retail management and excelled in sales, becoming the #1 retail electronics sales manager in the world in 1996 while working for Best Buy. In 2004, they transitioned to working as a district manager for CVS Pharmacy, a role they held until 2008. Throughout these positions, they also served as a teaching pastor and student at Gods Living Words Ministries.

In 2006, they took on the role of associate pastor at Community UMC and continued in this role until 2013.
