Andy Lawson is a seasoned professional in mental health and education, currently serving as the Lead Therapist at New Hope Healthcare Institute since May 2022. In this role, Andy coordinates care for twenty patients, implements therapeutic curricula, and facilitates crisis interventions. Andy's extensive experience includes supervising over 50 employees as a Restorative Liaison for Knox County Schools, where efforts led to significant cultural change and reduced disciplinary actions. Previous experience includes providing in-home counseling at Youth Villages, as well as roles focused on behavior intervention in educational settings. Andy holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from King University, complemented by additional certifications in clinical education and addiction prevention.
