Simone Waters

Simone Waters is a director of outreach and development at New Horizons in Autism Inc. Simone has over seven years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Simone started their career as an assistant program director at AdvoServ, where they oversaw four group homes housing a total of 28 adults with developmental disabilities. Simone then became a residential manager at Opportunity Knocks, Inc. and an IIC Master's Clinician at Rebuilld Therapy & Treatment Services. In their current role, they provide individual therapy to adolescents in IOP program and facilitates mental health and DBT groups in partial care and IOP adolescent program.

Simone Waters has a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University. Simone also has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from Rutgers University. Simone is certified in crisis management from the elwyn vineland method and is a Licensed Social Worker through the DCA BSWE.

Their manager is Samir Popal, Executive Director. They are on a team with Sheri Fox Martinez - Director of Human Resources, Cynthia Espinosa - Director of Day Habilitation Services, and Racsaida Morel - Director of EHR & Billing.
