Scott Williamson has a long and varied work experience. Scott began their career in 1994 as a Lead Computer Operator for the Department of Virginia State Police. In 1999, they moved on to become a Network Installation Consultant for General Data Systems, where they were responsible for planning and executing the timely installation of network topologies onsite. In 2003, they worked as a Server Installation Technician for MediSYS for Physicians, where they built and installed HIPPA compliant, UNIX based servers for various State hospitals and private physician offices throughout Alabama. In 2006, they became a WiFi Consultant for Xiocom Wireless, providing NOC support and marketing and selling the Xiocom Wireless services to Hotel and Resorts throughout the Pan Handle of Florida. In 2011, they were a Deployment Team Lead for Capstone Corporation, where they fulfilled a temporary contract in deploying new ACES and HP computer systems for NASA employees on Dryden Airforce base. In 2012, they became a Field Service Engineer for Nomad Digital, where they opened an account with Amtrak and coordinated the installation of WiFi system deployed for over 40 train cars. In 2015, they took on the role of Sales Representative for BeRanked, where they were responsible for consulting and advising business owners regarding all services provided by BeRanked. Finally, in 2017, they became an Account Executive for New Horizons Learning Group, where they bring over 15 years of business to business consulting experience with an emphasis on technology.
Scott Williamson attended John Tyler Community College from 1988 to 1995, studying Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Scott then attended H Councill Trenholm State Technical College from 2003 to 2004, where they studied Cisco networking essentials, Cisco networking advanced, and Linux Red Hat 7.2 advanced.
