Steven Head

Steven Head is a seasoned professional in contract management and commercial leadership within the construction sector, currently serving as the Head of Contract Management for the New Hospital Programme since April 2024, overseeing the establishment of 40 new hospitals over the next decade. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Commercial Manager at HS2 Ltd, where Steven led procurement and delivery for the Phase 2a programme, and as Head of Architectural Finishes for ALYSJ JV, managing significant contracts for the Doha Metro project. With a foundation in commercial management and claims quantification from previous positions at KPMG and Mohammad Al Mojil Group, and extensive experience in project oversight from early career roles at Francis Graves Partnership and A&H Construction & Developments, Steven holds advanced degrees in Construction Law and Quantity Surveying from Robert Gordon University and Birmingham City University, respectively.
