New Hour For Women and Children is a non-profit based out of Brentwood, New York. New Hour aims to address the impacts of incarceration on women, children, and families through direct services, aid, and advocacy. 

New Hour works within correctional facilities to provide women who are currently incarcerated with the life skills they need to thrive on the outside. 

Our Emerge leadership programs, open to women impacted by incarceration, work on life and leadership skills, job training, and financial wellness. 

Through our programs, we provide women with transportation, sanitary supplies, job interview clothing, and much more to help them succeed.

The Advocacy and Outreach Team at New Hour For Women and Children spearheads efforts to raise awareness about the impacts of incarceration on women and their families, campaigns for policy changes, and builds community partnerships. This team also facilitates outreach programs to connect incarcerated women and those recently released with essential resources, reentry services, and peer support. Their work ensures that the voices of impacted women are heard and their needs are addressed both within the correctional system and in the community.
