Umar Ibrahim Umar is an experienced professional in health education, advocacy, and program management, currently serving as a Field Manager at New Incentives since June 2023. Umar has previously worked as an Advocacy and Communication Officer for Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA from December 2019 to March 2023 and held a similar position at UNICEF in 2018, focusing on expanding social protection and enhancing nutrition education. Additional experience includes roles at the University of Maryland Institute for Global Health as a Field Interviewer and at Jigawa State Primary HealthCare Development Agency as a Health Education and Promotion Officer, where Umar led community health initiatives. Academically, Umar holds a Master of Development Studies from Federal University Dutse, a Master of Science in Public Health from Stafford University Uganda, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Cavendish University Uganda, alongside a certificate in security studies and disaster management.
