Lena Pira

Lena Pira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in publishing, education, and communications. Since November 2014, Lena has served as Company Director at Leap Publishers, overseeing invoicing, estimates, branding, book design, layouts, and editing, while assisting authors globally in achieving their publishing aspirations. Lena also holds the position of Company Director at AfricanBooks.com since February 2021 and has been a Missions Affiliate at New International since November 2008. Previous roles include Communications & Development Coordinator at Africa Renewal Ministries and Head of Program Development at Africa Renewal Christian College. Lena's early career included teaching positions at the Los Angeles Unified School District from 1999 to 2009. Educationally, Lena earned a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University-Northridge.
