Christopher Emigholz

Christopher Emigholz has a diverse and extensive work experience in government affairs and policy. Christopher is currently serving as the Chief Government Affairs Officer at the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Government Affairs at NJBIA from December 2019 to September 2022. Before joining NJBIA, Christopher worked at the New Jersey Senate Republican Office as the Associate Executive Director/Budget & Education Director from March 2012 to December 2019. Christopher also held the position of Director of Office of Legislative Affairs at the New Jersey Department of Education from May 2010 to March 2012. Christopher's earlier career includes serving as the Associate Vice President for Education & Workforce Development Policy at the New Jersey Business & Industry Association from July 2005 to May 2010.

Christopher Emigholz began their education in 1995 when they attended The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied History & Political Science. Christopher completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1999. After a brief break, they resumed their education in 2002 at Rutgers University. Christopher pursued a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree and concentrated their studies in Public Policy. Christopher successfully completed their degree in 2004.
