Shelby Arenson has a comprehensive legal background, currently serving as a Deputy Attorney General for the New Jersey Division of Law since March 2024. Prior to this role, Shelby worked as an Associate at Seiden Family Law from September 2022 to March 2024 and gained judicial experience as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Marc R. Brown, J.S.C., in the New Jersey Courts. Additional experience includes serving as an Executive Student Board Member for the American Bar Association's Family Law Quarterly, contract management for the City of New York's Administration for Children's Services, and various internships in legal and social work settings. Shelby holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York Law School, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Society and Sociology from American University.
