Dan Holub has over two decades of experience in various leadership roles within educational and professional organizations. Dan served as the Director of Research and Economic Services at the New Jersey Education Association. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director of the Indiana State Teachers Association and the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees. Dan also held the position of Senior Program Manager at the Wisconsin Education Association Council and was the Director of the University of Iowa Labor Center.

Dan Holub holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Service and Adminstration and International Agriculture from Iowa State University. Dan later obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Iowa. In 2017, they completed a Strategic Human Resources Leadership Certificate at Cornell University.
