Det. Ret. Barry E. Eck, NJCEM, MEP, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Public Safety and Emergency Management at Seton Hall University, focusing on emergency management operations, training, and planning. With extensive experience in emergency management, Barry has held the position of President of the New Jersey Emergency Management Association since 2008 and actively contributes to various committees. As a Fire/Emergency Services Instructor at the Middlesex County Fire Academy, Barry teaches emergency services and coordinates critical training programs. Previously, Barry served as the Municipal Homeland Security & Emergency Management Coordinator for Sayreville and has a long history with the Borough of Sayreville as a Police Officer and Detective, along with serving as Fire Coordinator for Middlesex County.
