R. Alesha Vega MPP is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in program management, community engagement, and communications. Currently serving as a Program Associate at New Jersey Future since October 2023, R. Alesha has previously contributed to various organizations, including Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, where involvement focused on education and community outreach from March 2019 to August 2023. R. Alesha has also held significant roles at The Coalition for Peace Action as Assistant Director, overseeing administrative operations, public relations, and community organizing from August 2014 to August 2016. Experience includes coordinating volunteer efforts and communications at Trenton Area Soup Kitchen during AmeriCorps VISTA, event management for the Downtown Business Association, and research assistance in neurodegenerative diseases at Rutgers University. R. Alesha holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Monmouth University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University.
